Firstly there is little point enquiring as to whether a conviction has been recorded.What John did was not show up for the hearing. As he was free on Bail pending the hearing the Bail is now a further financial problem he faces only this time the amount owed is payable to the Queensland Justice Department. No Conviction has been recorded because as yet the matter has not been heard. The warrant for J Mc's arrest is based solely on his refusal to appear.Perhaps this link might help ....
