(ot) If you have a clear night out there, thonite, take a look towards gemini (about 20 degrees above ENE horizon at 8pm).  You should start to see some nice meteor activity.  I mention this here since you said you don't post "over there" anymore and I didn't want you to miss it if it's a good show tonite.
