it's wet and windy but you know king tides, had to try for a swim in the river but I couldn't get there, the road was flooded so I turned back and went to the beach.  fantastic, it's possibly a little inappropriate to compare such power with playing with a kitten but it's so alluring with the foamy edge creeping up the dune and retreating and then that unexpected pounce from an extra big wave.  one minute I am metres away from the edge and the next knee deep!

Yep, we just had king tides here in the Bay Area. Made the news big time.

we are getting more surges but not the tides so much as the underwater volcano near Tonga - right along the eastern seaboard they are saying not to get in the water or by it's side.

Can the weather be both intense and mild at the same time?  am I missing a word here, oh maybe high umami weather.

It reminds me of the little known secret cult called Dragon's Breath.  For some reason that escapes me they believe that the dinosaurs aren't so much dead and buried as only buried.

If they're right then the volcano would be the dinosaurs rumbling.
