Before all this kicked off, what was the NHS objectively? I'd say a highly wasteful & inefficient organisation which often ranked nowhere near the top in terms of outcome, when compared with the health services of other nations. It's free at the point of use it's true...a major plus.

Could it be improved in the future however, without some sort of contribution from those who can afford it, as are the systems in France & Spain, for example. There are many other sensible questions that could be asked about the whole setup, but wait..... asking them is taboo.

Somehow, over the years, the NHS has morphed in the national psyche into more like a religion which can't be questioned.

Now we have this emergency, the immediate response was that 'our NHS' must be protected at all costs, not that the people should be protected by it. Quite apart from the govt not having a proper plan, we then see infected people introduced into the general hospitals so spreading the disease, instead of being isolated, & then cleared out to die in care homes. Now they're clapping themselves on the back for not having to use the emergency isolation hospitals. The intention there is to move non virus patients out of harms way if the capacity in the general hospitals gets overwhelmed. Talk about inside out thinking.

WTF....I'm supposed to clap for that. That's what makes anyone who does an imbecile, & for sure there are a lot of them about, which is depressing.  As for the little kiddie shrines, it's only propagating the bullshit unto the next generation.

Don't quote me on any of that, if the thought police come round I'll just tell them I'm you...
