As I was apparently immune to worship of another person but remained in a DLM lifestyle for nearly a decade I saw the young Prem, once he stopped regurgitating his childhood training and revealed himself in his speeches, as an ignorant, shallow, selfish and materialistic and as he has grown, partly educated himself (has he ever shown any knowledge of Greek culture and philosophy but "know thyself?" and changed with popular culture he has remained the same. Shallow and vulgar. Naturally, he thinks it is worldly success that matters because that's what matters to him. He claims he made it on his own, a sort of poor boy made good story.
