I don't quite know what John meant by that, but I have a feeling he's implying that your painful experience of depression, exacerbated - perhaps - by being involved in the world of Rawat/Maharaji/Knowledge, can and should be used in the arsenal of accusations against him.Which, to my mind, (a phrase I once shunned), is not very considerate of him - towards your own experience, that is.
John, if you're reading this, Lexy's honesty in sharing the depths of her experience is not -and should not be used as - an excuse for anyone to take a cheap shot at Rawat and the limitations of the "knowledge" he touts.
You belittle her, yourself, and exes in general, by exploiting her suffering to further your - our - discontent with what Rawat is truly responsible for.
Fortunately Lexy has the strength to laugh at what you said.
Wish I did.
Existential depression has many causes. Pinning them all on Rawat does no-one any favours.
(sorry to get heavy about this, but that's how I feel).
