I definitely have never stood up and gave satsang in a booming voice like Rev Ian - but I know someone who did! And still does! You weren't thinking of anyone specifically, were you? If so, it was probably him!

I know you are being frivolous when you refer to "Mr Psychologist" - but I had to make it very clear to some people on another board that I have merely a degree in Psychology, which by no means means I am a "psychologist", but I am very interested in psychology. (It's actually a joint honours degree - in Psychology and Sociology - so that makes me even less of a "psychologist"!)

I saw Bowie in Dublin last year. And even though I am definitely heterosexual (DEFINITELY!!!) I thought he looked gorgeous! I found myself - very unusually - admiring his physical appearance. It was a great concert, the audience were extremely enthusiastic, and that was the venue Bowie chose to record a DVD of his concert (of all the many places on his worldwide tour that he could have chosen). The DVD has just been released, I bought it last weekend, but I haven't watched it yet. (I may be in it!)

But, on another board I've been on, you should hear what some people have to say about Mr Bowie. Apparently he is "the Devil incarnate" and "the sperm of Satan"!

But I made it clear that although Bowie has clearly said he is definitely NOT "the Devil incarnate", he has never said that he is NOT "the sperm of Satan". And I also pointed out that there is a distinct difference between these two concepts, they mean different things to different people, depending on their culture, religious background, upbringing, etc. Bowie wants his music to be heard throughout the world, and he does not want to have any of these labels put on him, but he wants people to discover for themselves, without any preconceptions, through their own experience, that he is in fact "the sperm of Satan". (And he's also a greedy uncaring capitalist, they say!)
