Gawd had four long slender brown legs, a beautiful grey coat and she (cow tag, not bull) stood in the ravine looking right at me as my cross-hairs settled.  Oh yeah, gawd weighs around 990 lbs!  I know that is similar to your guru, but the rest of the description kinda knocks him out of gawd contention.

Gok, you have got to be kidding.  By asking that silly question, you seem to think we will all be hemming and hawing while looking for any answer we can find.  Crap...... what's NOT good about my life would be easier to answer.  There are good parts and bad parts to everything.  Even my hunting trip had some bad parts, despite the wonderful time I had.  Like, for instance, it got really cold and rainy on the third day.  But did I have fun on that day?  You bet!  It's all in the "attitude!"

If you "think" life sux and the only way to enjoy it is to worship a guru, then that is how yours will be..... your life will suck without a guru.  If you think your life is great (or pretty good, anyway), then it is!  You will "enjoy" your life without the need for a guru.  I prefer the latter!

When I need an "attitude adjustment," I go out in the field.  I hike, backpack, camp, hunt (archery or rifle, depending on my "attitude") and fly fish.  I do it alone, I do it with my family and I do it with my friends.  See?

There are some homeless/hungry folks that are going to be fine-dining....... gawd was too big for my freezer!  Nah..... actually, I do the hunter-for-the-hungry thing whenever I get a large animal (elk, moose, caribou, etc), whether it fits my freezer or not.  The food banks sure do love it!
