Consequent is one of those "false friends" words because it exists in both languages (konsequent) but is used differently. I'm not even sure how to translate it exactly. Something like "with too much enthusiasm" or "with uncomprimising and unwavering resolute determination."
You would think I had a German-English dictionary here at home somewhere, but all I can find is an English-Welsh, which of course no home can do without.
