"Orange Blossom Special" ( one of Phil's Favourites ) got me thinking of Johnny Cash...  " Hilltop for Love" wouldn't have fooled me 'cos I can smell that testosterone a mile away.

Earl Scruggs is best known for "Foggie Mountain Breakdown" ( Bonnie & Clyde) and there a "listen in" version on Amazon where Scruggs is playing with Steve Martin ( taking time out from his Hollywood Comedy Star persona to be what he really is, a banjo player) but I didn't know how to link it to the forum...? Nothing like a banjo lick to wake...er...cheer everyone up !

For my brother, meeting Earl Scruggs and playing onstage with him was the Darshan experience of his life. Scruggs took  a shine to Phil (" the english boy who does it better than we do") and had breakfast with him and chatted. He also let Phil help him down from the stage ( he's over 80 now )...and loads more that only banjo appreciators would understand!!( and maybe ex-premies.....).

I sorta knew you'd like bluegrass, Hillbilly........
