Rawat's pilot training appears to have been successful. He would need to pass regular exams to retain endorsement.
Interestingly, a lot of the modern airline training centres on teamwork in the cockpit and managing the balance of authority between pilot and first officer. I am not sure how much of this translates to ordinary non-commercial endorsement.
I suspect PR's nature would not take naturally to sharing authority. I imagine his first officers may also be hesitant in being forthright.
