i wrote about that a while ago. in 1978 i had a guest in my house, his prename was shivaraj (i forgot his family name). he came from india and was a satpal devotee who was curious finding out how things were going on in the west. we went to satsang every night together, he wanted to stay in germany but the authorities wouldn't let him. He told me about that(killing), and it is was a really sad story which was hidden from western followers. we went to dortmund 78 together and as soon he was discovered by other indian premies he got detained and questioned for 2 hours. He came back and was completely disturbed and having fear. i was very young at that time and a enthusiastic devotee believing in rawat, so i did not take it too serious(an example of a completely decepted young man). But the fact that he came and lived with me, might have saved him from more trouble.

P.S. india is big and i do not know about the news archives there, but maybe there is an article from that time somewhere.
i mailed to the satpal people once, because of that matter, but got no answer. of course this is as embarrassing for them as for rawat
