I still submit that the only reason he hasn't been able to utilize MSM is that his message isn't sufficiently appealing. If, for instance, it involved quasi-science or had a narrative with some humanistic progressive political appeal he'd be making significant inroads. Again, consider the examples of Deepak Chopra and Jon Edwards (Edward?). They are no less bogus than GMJ, they just have a more palatable message. As for the internet, he'd surely be able to find a home here, but would never ascend to prominence... because the higher reaches the internet culture are relentlessly rational. David Ickes and a number of other clearly questionable characters have achieved a niche, but the conditions of the internet virtually dictate that they'll never rise very much.

The internet is a two-way medium, which makes it vastly more responsive and responsible than MSM. Here's a good article on the future of internet blogging by Glenn Reynolds. This guarantees that GMJ may never completely disappear, but it also severely constrains him. Eternal vigilance is the price of...
