You made me laugh at that one Cynthia! I can't imagine any of the Rawat clan living in humble circumstances. Or having to work for a living.... sure, they might dabble in things, but not one of them faces having the utilities turned off for non-payment, or not being able to find the rent money.

I guess we all cut Marolyn some slack because we see ourselves in her. So many of us wanted to be that close to Rawat, whether as a spouse or a valet or whatever position would get us to be part of his life. She must have seen what happened those who displeased him in some way -- out the door, never to be seen from again. He is very vengeful.

I do agree that she was a wimp. But she probably never learned the skills that abuse and poverty teach a person. Those of us who have had it tough from an early age, are a lot stronger now because of that.

You know the old saying, "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." That's why we are tough!!

Of course in her case maybe she is thinking, "What doesn't kill you, makes you wish you were dead." but that is irrelevant.

The kids are probably Paris Hilton wannabes -- with all their wealth and privilege, not one of them has emerged as a positive contributor to society (so far). Ah, the lifestyles of the rich and famous...... I can only say that I am not impressed by Rawat's parenting skills -- but then look at his role model. The Shri Hans family all seemed to hate each other!
