well you know about Easter Island don't you, and you know that those big statues were made by aliens right? Well it's those very same aliens that stole the Sunday walk from the Germans, and as I understand it, they come from the planet Easter.

Seriously I have no idea, but I can look in my big fat dictionary tomorrow at work. My wife says because everybody is walking around on Easter Sunday and it especially beautiful and it is often one of the first nice days of Spring and people are just in good spirits. I guess you want to get Christ into the picture don't you? Okay maybe people are also happy cause Christ went to heaven. There I said it!
