POV provided the dubious service of showing how bad premies can get. With friends like him, Rawat hardly needs enemies.

But he became intolerable.

I think that when premies want to post as regularly as POV did, they should be asked if they have posted here before under a different alias.  They should also be encouraged to post under their real names and give some of their personal history.  Otherwise, there is no self-worth or accountability behind their statements.  For instance, if POV had given his real name, he probably would have received some unfriendly feedback from other premies for some of the things he posted, such as his comment that Rawat has similarities to Jerry Springer guests.

A few premies have posted here using their real names, Susan Sosman for example.  Her posts were a hundred times more courageous and valid than POV's.

As for that other guy, GOK, I can understand that initially he might want to stay anonymous since he is testing the waters.  He might feel underinformed about some of the issues, and he has revealed some personal trauma about his past.  But eventually, he should speak as himself.  It's not courageous so much as it is having confidence in yourself.  Premies give the excuse that they are afraid that exes will harrass them.  How silly.  The real reason is that they don't have enough self-confidence. Anyone who is self-confident will have no problem using their own name.  And you would think that premies who have what is supposedly the greatest gift of self-knowledge would be the ones to manifest this self-confidence.

I used to admire premies.  I thought they were advanced souls.  I no longer have that impression, far from it.  The premies who I know who have stayed premies have indeed stayed stuck in their 70's mindset.  They have not grown!!!  They say the same old things and it's really so awfully dry and pathetic now.  I'm just so glad that I have some old premies friends who have moved on like myself.  Life is really better than the premie version of it.
