you know, gok, you might not want to think you could have done it on your own, but you're doing yourself a great disservice there.

I was a premie too, many years ago, and learnt how to attribute anything good that happened to me to the "divine" one. But in reality, it wasn't the divine that I was giving credit too, it was simply that I had been indoctrinated into a belief system that discredited myself, while promoting my supposed dependency on ... you know who.

We bought into the belief that we had to "achieve peace" in our lives. Well, have you ever questioned that?

A peaceful world for us, our children (and their children) will NOT come about if we merely withdraw, ostrich-like, into a "safe space" where we become anaesthetised to all the troubles of the world. Yet isn't that the basis of the message that Rawat sells?

Take global warming for example. It's one of the many things that will affect us all for years to come.

How does the complacency of "being at peace with the world" motivate anyone (premies too) to do anything at all about that challenge to "peace" in the world? (unless the peace that Prem Rawat promotes is the peace of the grave).

Yet that is the foundation of what Prem Rawat teaches. That, and dependency on him.

Maybe the "peace" he's offering is not what the planet needs just now.

And the attendant dependency on him and disempowerment of yourself - well, who on earth would ever want that?

The time of the heirophant and the potentate (which is what Rawat really represents) is over. Or at least it should be.
