I feel I have to respond to this statment of yours:

"As I've said, I've read some of that stuff before - about Jagdeo, about alcohol, about a car accident, etc. - and there is very little substance to it in relation to Maharaji. Of course I condemn Jagdeo - and anyone else who may not have acted properly subsequently to that alleged incident. (By the way, I myself have suffered abuse as a teenager, I know what it's like to not be believed, but nevertheless, to be quite accurate, at least as far as I am aware, it is an ALLEGED incident.) But I don't see how you can condemn Maharaji in the way you do because of something Jagdeo has either done or is alleged to have done."

You're incorrect, it's not an alleged incident, and it's not only one incident.  Elan Vital has acknowledged the Jagdeo matter, and filed a legal action against Jagdeo in India.  So far, they haven't informed anyone publicly as to the status of that action.

There's no doubt that Jagdeo raped an eight year old girl who is now referred to as "A."  Maharaji himself acknowledged the abuse when he met with the "A's" father at Amaroo two or three years ago.  The father is now an ex-premie.  There is another woman named Susan who reads and posts on this forum.  She reported the abuse to Randy Prouty and Judy Osbourne in 1977, and both told her they had informed Maharaji about it then. They later had a lapse of memory about this and now deny it.  This is all about deceipt, Godo.

That's called collusion and it's a cover-up.  Maharaji knew and he did nothing to protect innocent children.

That's why I consider Maharaji to be extremely deceitful.  Maharaji knowingly sent Jagdeo out of the country (where Jagdeo committed the crimes), did nothing more about it, and Jagdeo continued to have contact with the children of Maharaji's premies.  It's been reported that Jagdo continued to abuse children in India.

"A" tried to tell her parents but was too young to know how.  As a person who was absued as a kid, I'm sure you can empathize.
