Gok,
I read through your past posts again to see how I thought "girl" at first. There really aren't any clear clues, so I guess I just filled in the blank arbitrarily and stuck to it. But I will change my viewpoint now, at least on your gender. I'm a gay man, by the way, so what do I know?!
Speaking of "filling in the blank" and that other saying "the mind abhors a vacuum," I do find that the mind needs some reference points when it does its work. For instance, when I first started listening to Terry Gross at NPR's Fresh Air, I did not have a visual of her appearance so I simply created her appearance for my own reference. This was mostly subconscious. When I found out what she looked like, I was a little surprised but I wasn't too far off.
So, if the Buddhist is wanting to go to No-Mind, and if mind abhors a vacuum, then there will be a little struggle going on.
I personally have chosen to go with no-struggle.
I don't like those four noble truths anyway. Too dark.
