For the last few weeks I have been contributing to the Wikipedia article on criticism of Prem Rawat. Previously I had been very sceptical of the value of the effort required, but with the participation of a neutral editor, Gary D., it became possible to rationally argue for inclusion of relevant links, and removal of some of the provably wrong criticisms of ex-premies and our motives.

The current editors, neutral, pro- and anti-Rawat have agreed to sign off the article, which I think is quite an achievement. There is still much missing from the article, but there is sufficient content that would encourage an interested outsider to read more on EPO, that I for one, given the constraints, am happy with the article.

Given that there has been much discussion here about Wikipedia, and anyone who wants to has had an opportunity to express their views and to contribute to the editing process, I think the current article is the best we can hope for, and I would urge everyone here not to try to sabotage it. If significant additional information comes to light then I will add it to the article.

I would like to thank Andries, whose persistence when none of us had the patience or belief to seriously contribute to editing the article, at least kept the anti-Rawat position in the spotlight.

Please note that my agreement to the article only applies to the criticism article, and not the main Prem Rawat article, which I haven't had time to seriously examine.

John.
