Sandy, exes post here to help people out of the cult. They have full lives outside of this forum and EPO. Many have gone on to dedicate themselves to work, or issues, or communities that are making a difference in the world. There are folks involved in health care issues, child welfare issues, mental health issues, poverty issues, justice issues, etc. You just don't see them post about it. So they are doing something in the real world, besides writing on this forum. If you are feeling so inclined, I humbly suggest you involve yourself as well. You could make a difference in someone's life. You're well read. How about getting involved in an adult literacy program at your local library? Volunteer at the local food bank. Be a big brother. Visit prisoners. Visit elderly shut ins. Drive a shift for meals on wheels. There's great need out there. Put your kindness, goodness and understanding to work. I am sure you will find groups and individuals who will greatly benefit from your attention.

The forum benefits from having people around who have been posting here for years. Yes, stories get rehashed, but usually for a newcomer or recent ex who needs to hear about these things for the first time. Having participants who know the history of the forum and EPO is also one way to combat the garbage that Rawat and EV put out about ex premies.

You have a good heart. You are well meaning. Find a deserving outlet for all that you have to give.
