I disagree with the idea that he doesn't claim literally to be God because he follows a clever strategy as Andries thinks.

He doesn't claim to be God because he doesn't want to put an upper limit of what people believe him to be, for him God is a lower limit and he implies that he is ABOVE THAT! As St. Paul says there are many Gods in the universe but M. is above all. Have you heard him talking about anything above him? Jesus talked about his father, M. talks about his father too but never in a way that he is to be worshiped by premies.

The idea behind all these is that God at the West is equivalent to Iswara, that is a PERSONAL GOD a deity or deities BELOW the ABSOLUTE and that is just the LOWER LIMIT for M.!

Admit it POV, isn't it what you feel sometimes even if you 've never listened to such a thing literraly?
