Hi Emile

Many thanks for taking the time and effort of putting together the various pages, what I now term the "Emile Pages", for the most part I found them to be very thought provoking as well as very funny. You have a good way with words and obviously your web skills are well honed.

I agree with the subject of your post about natural healing being better than doctoring and I certainly think that at times doctoring pictures have a place when done in good taste.  And that is the central part of my observations made down somewhere below, it all comes down to a matter of taste.  For me some of the more extreme doctored pictures are in poor taste and, I may be wrong here, but I think that quite a few people will also find them (the one's on the training pages) to be in poor taste even though I'm sure that everybody will recognise what you intentions are.  Equally there will probably be many people who do not consider those doctored pictures in poor taste and perhaps will even want more extreme types of doctored pictures.  It is all a value judgement after all.  I have a pretty strong stomach for most kinds of things but am aware what negative and unintended triggers such doctored pictures may have on some people.

Believe me Emile I'm in no way of trying to censor you, all I'm doing is putting forward my point of view and opening up the discussion.  I'm glad that we can have a discussion about different points of view and that stands in stark contrast to what we all were use to when we were involved in the cult where there was a top down group think in process that stifled the ability of people discussing things in a judgemental and open way.

Yes, I did get your point about mimicking Maharaji's speeches in a graphic way when I was reading your pages and understand that you did that to add focus to the very insidious way Maharaji treated people in the training sessions. However I think that Maharaji's words alone are, in this instance, sufficient for people to realise what is happening.  I think the doctored pictures in some ways detract from that message.  But, I stress, this is my personal opinion based on my "bad taste" test.  But as someone else said below, "each to their own".

Don't get me wrong Emile, I think it is ok to use whatever methods are available, subject to it being in good taste, to show people that Maharaji is not the self-important and pompous wind-bag that he thinks he is and would like others to see him as.

Just to end, I don't think we should make a mountain out of a molehill on this, it is not so imporatnt in the grand scheme of things.  I like 95% of what you did and for that I thank you.

Kind regards

Thorin
