I understand your frustration if - from your perspective - it feels like nothing has moved. You seem to be, like myself, an idealist at heart and 'the ideal' receeded further with each passing year since the empty promise we put our faith in all those years ago.

From my viewpoint, F8 bears little resemblance to the angry and hostile F3 that I first came upon and is a major step beyond the forum even less than a year ago. Each premie that exits is 'breaking new ground' and they are doing it regularly. The archives are wonderful but simply do not give the same support.

There's a fair amount that individuals do behind the scenes that is never discussed publically on this forum, because it would be counter-productive to do so. You could always start an 'activist forum' if you want something more radical than this one. Of course, it will have to be password protected, or it would be rather pointless.
