I agree that just claiming that Rawat is running a cult is not the basis for legal action, especially in the USA, where protection of religion and religious views are sacrosanct. I think someone was mentioning a claim for misrepresentation (Rawat claiming to be God when he wasn't), but I think that would be a civil damage claim, not a criminal charge. Rawat isn't the only one who has claimed to be God, and I don't think that's technically illegal either.
I personally don't think that the legal system is a very good way to resolve most disputes or to get redress. I personally feel it is much better to try to take what happened to us and make something constructive out of it, and I think EPO is part of that.
