I LOVE the Office Assistant - and I think that was a nice compliment, San - thanks! I am not the type to post a point by point rebuttal - I write stream of consciousness. I've always been a kinesthetic type - working from feelings. What a person says (or writes) is not really what they always mean.
I "feel" that you need to lighten up and relax and just enjoy being out of the cult. There is nothing to prove any more and no reason why you can't have a good time. I don't want to be a "better" anything - I am happy with myself, now that I am not a dog serving a master.
I hope you can learn to appreciate this place - instead of criticising and complaining about everyone all the time. I have found a lot of really interesting ways of looking at Rawat's con game from the posters here, and I have been supported in learning to live without chains. Some posters, like Hilltop, show us photographic proof that we were not crazy - Rawat did say all those things. Others, like Cynthia, provide us with incredible links and articles about cults and cult apologists, and insight into the psychology of brainwashing effects. Gerry makes me laugh, Jim makes me think, and on and on ... everyone here seems to contribute something different and meaningful. I hope you can join in......
