If you can keep the trolls away, I'm sure we collectively can deal with conversations that occasionally veer off topic - hopefully without the need for deleting our posts.Treat people as adults, and they're more likely to behave like adults. Treat them like naughty kids ... you know how it goes. In fact, when I think of the number of exes who no longer post here because they consider (whether rightly or wrongly) that the past deletion/censorship of their posts "forced" them into a position of no longer contributing to this forum - ... well, I hope the common sense that is at present prevaling re. "moderating" the posts of the many contributors here (thinks ... "moderating" sounds awfully PC, no? hasn't it come to mean "censoring"?) - continues to respond to the current reality that exists for exing premies, exed premies and those who still identify with being premies. Hope that makes some kind of sense.
