The "Knowledge" that was shown to me in 1972 was different to the "Knowledge" that was later shown in a knowledge review.  In other words, the techniques were changed.  I have happily, at times over the years since I stopped being a premie in 1983, taught people who are interested, breath meditation without Hindu mantras or names of God, pretty much like this guy here who has an excellent web site.

To tell the truth, I don't remember ever making a vow when I received K from Prakash Bai Ji in the Spring of 1972.  To be even more truthful, I lost track of what she was talking about after the second technique and learned my own version of breath meditation by myself, through trial and error and was quite surprised to discover years later that most other premies did a different kind of breath meditation to me.

Promising not to reveal the techniques is like promising not to tell people how the "fools mate" in chess is done.  Anyone who plays a few games of chess knows how it's done anyway.  Likewise, the meditation techniques that Maharaji supposedly teaches are not secret, not new and are known about by people the world over.  They are commonplace and it's only our naivity that allows us believe that we have some special knowledge.
