Anyone hanging on to a shred of hope that Rawat will pull off anything quantifiable for their well-being in the eleventh hour has got to be totally in denial of the 30+ year history. When I went to Amaroo in 2001 I was shocked at how little, and how lame the state of development was. Really, it was a major eye-opener for me, after having been back in the fold for a few years. Even if Rawat decided to do a 180 on his attitude towards his followers , he doesn't have the skill to pull off anything on a major scale. Did he say that there were teams of premies who would use their lifelong skills in design, development and construction to build communities? To the contrary, it was "I designed this thing." Yet another magical solution. So once again, even if he tried to build a community, it would just be another top-down cluster-fuck of getting premies to "follow agya" and "be in touch" rather than some kind of quantifiable, usable success.
