Had M presented himself as an anaemic "inspirational speaker" back in the 70s he would never have gotten off the ground. It was his claim to divinity that gave him his followers and his immense wealth.

So, Jonx, did M at any time in the 70s (for example) notice that he was being sold on the basis of a misconception and attempt to rectify matters? Anyone who remembers the "heavy devotional period" at the end of the 70s will tell you that he certainly did NOT.
