There’s one thing (as far I can remember) M never talk about: compassion. Premies don’t have to help each others, they just have to help the Guru.

What does the Dalai Lama talk about most of the time? Compassion is what he taught me, just reading his books, not being a disciple. I feel friendship for him, not devotion.

Maybe it’s difficult to be in something else, once M is quit.

Many people feel devotion towards the Dalai Lama, but he never asked for it (as far I can remember) .
