This is just a simple tactic of mass manipulation. What he talks about is so extremely vague, that you with your will and sincerity can fill anything into it. You are then so surprised that "something" just fits or seem to fit into your life that you completely shield out or even forget all that in the speech, that appearently does not hit you or could even mean the opposite(of course this is extremely rare due to the vague talking).
