Hi Henna
No problems at all. It did not take me any time at all as I'm very familiar with Cathleen and some of the other key participants on the freedomofmind discussion list who do provide an excellent resource for people involved with cults. You are quite right in being wary of lots of things that is being said on the internet as there are lots of people out there who are not what they appear to be.
For instance there is a website called cult awareness network which appears to offer very helpful advice to people who are trying either to exit a cult or who are recovering from being in a cult. However that website is operated by the Church of Scientology (of Ron Hubbard fame) and used as a front to gain new recruits to their insidious movement.
Personally, and I do understand your feelings, but I don't think one should 'regret' having felt devotion to Prem Rawat. That was what the whole thing was set up to do, for you feel devotion. I think the better feeling to have is an understanding of how one fell for the trip, what undue influences were applied to gain recruits into DLM/EV etc, and then with that understanding move on and have a great life. Yes, continue talking about it, sharing the understanding if one wants to, but not regretting the past. For me personally, feelings of regret simply holds me in a state of limbo.
