I agree with you that we want to find answers and to understand, but the questions keep on coming, and some (most?) of them, particularly those of a philosophical nature, are unlikely to ever be answered. What I was trying to say is that rather than cover over the uncertainty with belief systems like religious people or premies do, I accept the uncertainty. It doesn't mean I don't want to know, just that I'm not going to fill the hole with the first explanation that sounds good. Maybe 'embrace' was too strong a word.
