The point I'm trying to make is that it's a natural impulse to find an answer to whatever perplexes us, whether it's in a novel or in life. It's just a property of the mind. Do you disagree with me on that? If you have a question in mind are you content to just "embrace" it without trying to find an answer? Here's a good question? Do you think the willingness to embrace mystery has something akin to "removing all doubt from mind"? Isn't it the same strategy? In both cases aren't you just denying your mind's innate impulses, to followup on what troubles it, to find out what's wrong with the picture, so to speak, or to find an anwer to the question? No mind likes having a question in it without finding an answer. It's just such bullshit to "embrace" a mystery that can't be solved. Like you say, screw that!
