Karen, you are obviously ( subject matter and muse aside ) a very talented poet . Thanks for sharing something so personal. All my old devotional feelings leapt out as I read your words. Some of the poems stand up very well on their own , without a Guru to be directed towards.

As for " Make me the dust of your feet "...... I must admit it's the funniest thing I've seen on the forum for ages and I'm still giggling.Find a tune for it and sing it in three part harmony . Laughter is one way of repairing the damage.
