And yes I do still get a lot from the techniques. Just because they are bog standard yoga techniques doesn't mean you can't get a lot off of them. Like any meditative practice they will work for some people, and work quite well. But the only comment you can make to criticize that fact is to hint that premies are all experiencing that bliss, and somehow that that is connected to gm, oh and the ironic use of capitals. First off, the majority of premies are no longer so, about 95%, and that means even now they are still leaving, so obviously there are wavering premies still there too. Now the leavers either didn't get the celestial visions or they forgot them, or they made a choice to downgrade their experiences in their life priority list. Now as someone who has always had that consciousness at my core, my life has been dedicated to it way beyond anything else, I've had innumerable bliss experiences of the sweetest sort. How anyone could forget them I fail to see. I went three years after acid, through depression, with no drugs, no meditation, just the memory of, and I never forgot them, in fact it's exactly why I received knowledge, I was searching for a natural way to re-access them again.. The only other possible argument about forgetting is that you believe maya can draw you off course from the heart/experience if you haven't had many of those experiences. I have a little bit of sympathy for that, but again that's really down to life choices. I'm afraid you're showing the usual premie naivete about 'spiritual experiences'. That your belief might give you confidence in your experiences continually coming I don't deny, but that's the standard kind of confidence anyone gets from a religious belief. But of course one of the sublest concept packages gm peddles is by identifying himself with the meditation experiences so that premies believe if they are having experiences, and the k is uniquely his, and it's all about the experience, then belief is not involved, because really gm is just the embodiment of the experience. Naive but understandable. Very |
