I really do appreciate that there are MODs who can keep out the chronic premie trolls whose only purpose is to disrupt discussion about Maharaji. I suspected that the MODs might delete that post and that's why I kept my own copy. Actually, I think the post by New Orleans Premie is a relevant post that is macbre, but poignant and meaningful. The New Orleans and Katrina tragedy are scaring the hell out of me in that the continuity of modern life as we know it hangs by a thread and that practically anyone of us could be out on the streets for the rest of our lives. There is no safety net. There's a significant percentage of Katrina victims that won't recover and they will eventually melt into the chronically homeless population. That said, humor is healthy. And my post was relevant in that as premies or just speaking for myself I embraced Knowlege and Maharaji because Maharaji said that he was there to protect and save us - 'sawing off the same branch we were sitting on'. During the 70's there were the wars in the Mideast that were pretty scary to me. And as premies, correct me if I'm wrong we and Maharaji sure as hell helped, got into the whole Armageddon and the 2nd Coming B.S. Also, Vietnam was still going on and Maharaji spoke of that directly as well. I think the post by New Orleans Premie is relevant and it important. And the nonsense I got in private from the MOD about 9-11 and not taking advantage of the situation is chicken shit crap. There's always a situation when you're dealing with LIFE. Life and all its disasters, horrors, joys and heartbreaks is always happening. Only in some kind of perfect Maharaji world is there predictability and nothing happening. Stifling what we feel and stifling our expression is pretty much how I remember my time in the cult. We were spoon fed a reality by a stupid uneducated greedy spoiled brat who only saw himself and if we were to question that reality we were in our minds. Maharaji put us at war with ourselves and I think the New Orleans Premie is an example of such a premie who starts to break through. I feel, at times, that the MODs try to hard to make this forum palatable for an imaginary press or millions of premies would would love to be ex-premies, but that's the same pie-in-the-sky thinking that we embraced as premies. Ok, that's my opinion. I believe that people respond better to people being who they are, warts and all, rather than a heavily edited and manicured world like Maharaji and his PR machine creates. Sure, the post by New Orleans Premie was over the top and maybe people aren't ready to look at the situation with humor yet. However, approaching a situation like Katrina, and the levee failure in New Orleans with humor is from what I've heard a sign of recovery. I'd better save this post, too. I'm sure the MODs will do what they want to do and then declare it a glitch like they always do. That's B.S. I know so because I've worked this forum software from the backend and it doesn't glitch.
