I have to agree. There are some pretty loud voices on this forum who think materialist rationalism is the ants pants of philosophies. There is a tendency where one is bashed on the head for having any viewpoint about soul and spirit. As though the only faculties humans have are mind and body. The ancient Greeks knew the fallacy of these arguments, and I am sick of having to have an apologetic attitude for not being a materialist rationalist. Quite frankly materialist rationalism is an extremely crude way to view the universe.
