Hi Jim

The problem is he makes vague statements like 'you just have to enjoy yourself, that is all there is to it' kind of stuff. So I can imagine people who have only heard him once or twice thinking that 'Knowledge' is this vague feel-good state that you get by just listening to Maharaji or remembering him or something.

But certainly throughout the period 1970 to 2002, at least, he has made it consistently clear that you need the techinques of K, as revealed by him or someone he has personally authorised to give them, and that you have to practise them in their correct sequence once a day. You have to do more as well, of course, such as surrender your life and be devoted and beg for the grace etc, but as a minimum you have to practise the 4 techniques daily as revealed - that is necessary (but not sufficient) to 'experience Knowledge'.

To anyone who takes M's message seriously, and tries to understand what he is saying, then it must be obvious that you need the techniques of K. Why 'd' did not get this, I don't know. Maybe he did not pursue the aspirant process seriously (just cruised off the premie vibe of his parents), I don't know.

What M says in the very recent past (last 3 years) I'm not sure. But certainly for the 32 years before that, practising the K techniques daily was the necessary prerequisite for all a premie's experience, or hoped-for experience.
