bill -

I was doin' the old Knowledge routine
laying in bed one night when I was in
a lot of pain.

Not the 'see no evil - hear no evil -
speak no evil' monkey thing, but the
part where you simply direct your
attention elsewhere. No greeter, no
goal.

All I remember about it is that it did
help; I do remember one thing: instead
of extorting 'healing' from some 'thing'
(be it external, internal, or topologically
indistinct) .. I was more like Thanks For
The Lift. I was grateful for the moments
I was free of pain or experiencing it in
a less intolerable way. And with no fear,
anxiety or expectation about it.

No theories on this; just a think-and-do
thing and functionally equivalent to an
entirely calisthenic approach.

Everything is nonsense.

I'm truthfully fancying Bostrom's reasoning
on www.simulation-argument.com and it makes
sense to me; explains all the rules I see
broken, and the mischief.
