The scans that Hilltop posts from the early DLM publications clearly show that during the 70s and early 80s, practicing Knowledge was an intense, demanding trip, and that that trip came directly from the top - Maharaji himself. And in light of these scans I find EVs historical revisionism a bit comical.

All I want to say here is that everyone who received Knowledge reacted differently to the experience. I'm not blaming anyone.
