As you probably know from reading the forum, if nothing else, there's a broad spectrum of interest in and respect for spirituality amongst exes. Personally, I'm on one end of the scale in that I think the very notion of spirituality itself is empty and misguided. Accordingly, I have to disagree when you say:

This almost suggests some wisdom or justification in Rawat avoiding discussion. We're all familiar with the idea that "real wisdom" transcends mere words, etc. and that that is indeed one of the excuses Rawat's always used to avoid discussion, as, in fact, have other supposedly enlightened people, but I think it's bullshit. To me, this false truism is just a scoundrel's refuge. Many a "master", including indeed Krishnamurti, have spouted all sorts of irrational nonsense only to retreat behind this shield when challenged to make some sense of what they're saying. The last thing they'd concede is how hypocritical that is.
