One thing your story illustrates is the morality of your boss, which sadly is reflected in the morality expressed by followers of Rawat who post here and attack former followers who speak out about Rawat. Both giving you better assignments because you were expressing an interest in Rawat, and laying you off when you said you weren't interested, are examples of abuse of power by your boss.
