Tom,

I think only one person wrote that he assumed that you were afraid of your wife's wrath. I, and I'm sure others, simply assumed from your words that you were afraid of your wife's reaction, which you have confirmed is true. Your comments about leaping to judgements and prejudice were, you must admit, a teeny bit hyperbole when the important issue was your fear of your wife's reaction.

Your description of that fear in your second affidavit (can I assume that this one, unlike the first, was actually true?) shows to any reader that your fear was excessive compared to your 'crime'. Do a survey of people never involved with the cult if you don't believe me. Maybe there is another explanation than my speculation, but I can't think of one. BTW, you seem to have misunderstood what I said about residual cult indoctrination. This does not mean you still hold on to conscious beliefs about Rawat's divinity, but that there is stuff in your mind resulting from your cult involvement (which lasts to this day because of your marriage) that caused that fear when Scattini arrived with the affidavit.

I have healthy and realistic minor fears of being sued, or some cult fanatic coming to Latvia to 'serve' his Lord. I take appropriate precautions against both possibilities. I do not have fears of Rawat using divine powers to attack me.

John.
