Well all;

Having worked for my professional organization for many years, one of my simplist tasks involved getting each and every county / city where we have members, to adobt a resolution or proclamation. It is as simple as writing a letter to the Mayor/Governor and requesting such a proclamation be made! Thats it. The wording is done by the group/person requesting the proclamation and is usually issued within a few weeks of the request.

In other words.... I can request a city declare July 22, "World Flea and Tick day", or perhaps.... August 3rd, "National Day for betterment of bowel movements"!

Those that know the process recognise the absurdity and lack of real value in these proclamations. They are intended to bolster support from a group's own membership (a sense of pride) and only the ignorant are impressed by such folly. Perhaps that is the target market for M today.... the naive and the ignorant.

Just my 2 cents!
