Yes, whatever Rawat and his closest associates may really think about their means and their true end, they can't help but be aware of the inherent problems of propagation.  Rawat's approach is by the back door, so to speak.  He wants to sneak into your house without anybody else in the neighborhood noticing.  Their subtle subterfuge (thank you) probably does seem justified to them.  The moonies call it:  "You don't feed steak to a baby."  Of course, as you say,  one has to be a gigantic egomaniac to interact with people in this manner.  And the chances of Rawat garnering future success in this way are next to zero.  I personally would recommend to him that he forget about this approach and take a more brazen and honest one.  He should always ask himself  in every circumstance:  "What would Jesus do?"   I think he would find that approach much more productive, not to mention entertaining.
