This is Padron's quote from http://www.mdc.edu/peace_is_possible/
>Miami Dade College is proud to join The Prem Rawat Foundation and our distinguished sponsors in presenting Prem Rawat “Peace is Possible.”
I was very pleased that Prem Rawat had accepted my invitation to address our community. His is a message of possibility, delivered with uncommon insight and candor. Please join us for what promises to be a special evening.<
So MDC was only joining (its) sponsors in presenting the Rawat gig - as it took place in a facility not owned by MDC, what precisely was MDC contributing to the presenting process if it wasn't contributing to the overheads ? Was MDC simply taking on the advertising ? - even that costs time and resources - which budget did Padron allocate those to ?
As to the MDC web page promoting the event, the way it is presented suggests that every named organisation is a distinguished sponsor.
What I still don't get is what Padron thought he was getting when he put his name to this nonsense - hasn't anyone told him the world is full of con artists.
