I called the Miami Dade College and spoke with Mr. Padron's secretary. She said that they received Jim and Susan's e-mails. But Mr. Padrón is out of  town at the moment. I asked her then if he had attended the program, and she said no, that he just went in for a moment. After explaining my concerns to her, she told me that the MDC wasn't sponsoring him but the UN-WFP was. I asked her if she was sure about that, and she told me that she didn't have all the info with her. I'll call again and try to find out if I can. I was checking on the UN web site to see if I could find any reference to Prem Pal or something about him in the press releases or donor list but I couldn't find any. Maybe some of you will have more luck or maybe he just doesn't have anything to do with it at all. Someone can maybe make contact with them to find out what's going on. Here is the link to UN-WFP

United Nations World Food Programme - WFP; Hunger relief

Here's the number to Miami-Dade College if anybody wants it, ask for the office of the President: 305-237-3000

Would it also be a good idea to write to or call the Miami Herald? or The Sun Post?
