Maybe it's not legal greed - the letter posted by PRMI below is from Larry Leblang , General Manager, Elan Vital, Inc.

 My recollection is that when EV went after EPO the DMCA complaint came directly from Strook, Strook and Lavan - a firm which by co-incidence had previously represented failed 'guru'  Carlos Casteneda. Perhaps Larry was foolish enough to 'go it alone' and try to hustle the PRMI people without paying more fees to S,S and L. Or maybe as S,S and L are listed on the PRMI site links page they felt just a little queasy about being associated with another spurious cult serving DMCA.

Besides it's not as if EV can't call on free lawyer time - Linda Gross is still listed as EV's spokesperson, the Pascotto brother that isn't a creepy psychologist - describes himself as a media lawyer and is on the board of TPRF (which also claims the same copyright as EV !!!!!) and of course there is the ever obliging Charles Glasser of Bloomberg Media whose name appeared on the Strook documentation.

No I don't think we can blame greedy lawyers for the PRMI debacle - it's all those years of meditation and servility - completely rots the brain as well as destroying the soul. I'm afraid we should expect more loopy attempts to shut down anything that's critical of Rawat. As one UK honcho bleated to the cult's lawyers after reading EPO "can't we stop this ?"  - The answer from the incredulous shyster was "Um, well no" Obviously the cult isn't going to take any advice that doesn't fit with its world view - hence happy Larry Leblang's attempt to stomp on PRMI.
